With these knitting instructions you can knit a beautiful scarf.

This delicate stole is started from the middle with a provisional stitch cast on (note: this is not explained in more detail in the instructions – please google it ☺) and then knitted in both directions. You can knit them with any lace or sock weight yarn.

Materials required:

  • approx. 200 – 225 grams of wool
  • Knitting needle size according to the chosen wool
  • some leftover yarn for the provisional stitch cast on
  • a suitable crochet hook
  • if necessary, stitch markers
  • Kitchen scales to weigh yarn consumption

Required knowledge:

  • right stitches
  • purl stitches
  • Knit yarn over
  • Knit stitches together
  • provisional stitch cast-on
  • Lift off stitches
  • Ajourmuster stricken

To make the tips look nice when tensioning, I recommend carefully using a little spray starch.

The instructions for knitting a scarf consist of 8 pages and contain knitting charts, detailed written instructions and a schematic drawing.

The level of difficulty is medium, but even ambitious beginners can get along well with the instructions.
